Cream cheese is delicious spread on bagles or bread.


Today, I’ll share an easy recipe for making blueberry cream cheese at home.

Ingredients

  • Milk: 2L
  • Vinegar: 6 tablespoons
  • Frozen blueberries
  • Sugar or allulose
  • Salt: 1/3 tablespoon


Instructions

  1. Pour 2L of milk into a pot and keep the heat on low. Add 1 tablespoon of vinegar every 5 minutes, for a total of 6 times, stirring gently each time.

    • Be sure to stir gently with a spatula after adding the vinegar.

  2. Once the cheese has curdled, strain it and refrigerate until it cools.

  3. Sprinkle sugar or allulose over the frozen blueberries and microwave them for a total of 3 minutes.

    • Heat in 1-2 minute intervals, stirring in between.
    • Continue heating until all moisture evaporates.

  4. In a bowl, combine the cooled cheese and blueberries, and mix well using a large spatula.

    • Add 1/3 tablespoon of salt to enhance the flavor.

  5. Enjoy the finished blueberry cream cheese spread on toasted bagels.
