Easy Pad Thai Recipe |
Today, I'm sharing a simple recipe for making Korean-style Pad Thai with just rice noodles and ingredients you likely already have at home.
This recipe is perfect for when you want to easily prepare Thai-style stir-fried rice noodles using basic seasoning ingredients.
Ingredients
(Serves 2)
- Rice noodles: 100g
- Tofu noodles: 100g
- Chili oil: 5 tablespoons
- Garlic: 5 cloves
- Dried shrimp: a handful (20g)
- Carrot: a little
- Cocktail shrimp: 10 pieces
- Dark soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Anchovy fish sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Sugar: 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce: 1 tablespoon
- Peanut butter: 1 tablespoon
- Eggs: 2
- Chives: a little
- Pepper: a pinch
Cooking Instructions
Soak 100g of rice noodles in water to prepare.
In a pan, add the following ingredients and sauté until the garlic is golden brown:
Chili oil: 5 tablespoons
Garlic: 5 cloves
Slice the garlic thinly before adding.
- Dried shrimp: a handful (20g)
Once the garlic is golden, add a little finely julienned carrot.
If you have frozen cocktail shrimp (about 10 pieces), feel free to add them according to your preference.
Add 100g of tofu noodles and the soaked rice noodles.
Before mixing the ingredients, season with the following:
Dark soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
Anchovy fish sauce: 2 tablespoons
Sugar: 1 tablespoon
Oyster sauce: 1 tablespoon
Peanut butter: 1 tablespoon
- If you don't have peanut butter, you can use crushed peanuts, but if using peanuts, add an extra tablespoon of sugar.
Push the rice noodles to one side of the pan and scramble 2 eggs, then mix them well with the rice noodles.
Finally, add a little chives and a handful of bean sprouts, stir-fry quickly, and it's ready to serve.
Enjoy your homemade Pad Thai!
