Today, I have prepared a recipe for Bulgogi Sandwiches.
These sandwiches are delicious and filling, packed with meat inside a baguette.
I've also included a great ratio for the sauce, so read through to make this easy sandwich at home, especially perfect for a picnic on a nice day!
Ingredients
(Makes 6 baguette sandwiches)
- Onion: 2
- Butter: 1 tablespoon
- Bulgogi beef: 600g
- Dark soy sauce: 5 tablespoons
- Cooking wine: 2 tablespoons
- Sugar: 2 tablespoons
- Minced garlic: 2 tablespoons
- Cooking oil: 2 tablespoons
- Baguette bread: 3
- Mustard sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Honey: 1 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise: 1 tablespoon
- Romaine lettuce or Iceberg lettuce: As desired
- Sliced cheese: As desired
Cooking Instructions
Thinly slice the 2 onions, then melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan and sauté the onions until they turn brown.
- Season the onions with salt and pepper.

In a bowl, add 600g of bulgogi beef and season with the following ingredients, mixing thoroughly:
- Dark soy sauce: 5 tablespoons
- Cooking wine: 2 tablespoons
- Sugar: 2 tablespoons

In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and add the seasoned bulgogi beef. Stir-fry until all the moisture evaporates.
Cut the baguette bread in half and trim the protruding parts from both ends.
Split the baguette bread open and spread it wide.

Mix the following ingredients in the specified ratio to make the sauce:
- Mustard sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Honey: 1 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise: 1 tablespoon
If you desire a bit of spiciness, add Sriracha sauce to taste.

Generously spread the completed sauce on the inside of the baguette.
Layer the Romaine or Iceberg lettuce, then add a generous amount of sautéed onions and bulgogi. Top with sliced cheese or mozzarella cheese to finish.
